Hippie Gypsy Cafe 1797-a Shattuck Ave, Berkeley , CA Laramie Crocker and Friends: Almost a cappella at the Hippie Gypsy Cafe Including the singers from Redemption: the Acid Gospel Tarot Opera. Laramie Crocker will lead the Redemption Opera Singers in songs from the opera, and more original tunes, at the Hippie Gypsy Cafe in Berkeley. Cafe owner Mary is super friendly, and the vibe, especially for music, is really wonderful. We'll be almost a cappella, and mostly acoustic. Vocals: Laramie Crocker, Wendi Olson, Sam Weinstein, Carrie Davoli, Barbara Griesau, Eve Graham; plus Laramie on acoustic guitar and Richard Berman on upright bass. After the madness of the full opera, this should be an intimate evening of mad-beautiful music. |
